Prepworld is looking for a Food Hygiene Team Leader on Night shift - To lead a team of Hygiene Operatives to maintain the site to the level required by PrepWorld and to meet legal requirements.
Main duties:
- To lead the Hygiene Operatives, to ensure the completion of hygiene schedules to ensure factory and environment are maintained to a high standard.
- Responsible for ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are maintained and improved.
- To be clear about what is expected of the individuals of the team
- Maintaining excellent communication throughout the department in order to ensure the hygiene plans are adhered
- Ensure the highest food safety and hygiene standards are embedded throughout the team.
- Responsible for completing the hygiene control sheets/schedules
- Responsible for training new staff
- All cleaning materials are put back in the Hygiene store room and in good condition at the end of the hygiene window
- All cleaning chemicals are put back in the chemical store at the end of the shift
- The role involves some manual handling and the ability to withstand working in cold storage conditions on a daily basis the role requires an alert disposition, working in the vicinity of forklift and moving machinery
Who we are looking for:
- Due to the nature of our business, must be 18yrs +
- Good level of English (written spoken and listening)
- Previous experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment
- Able to work 12 hour night shift and relaibly commute to Prepworld on Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays
- A keen eye for detail
- Flexible approach to work
- Work on own initiative

Days and hours of work: Wednesday to Saturday, 18:00pm - 06:00am

Salary: Starts at £13.84, rising to £14.33 and then £15.76 after full training and development. Weekly paid.
